Contemporary residence with internal patio and linear pool
Porto Belo, SC
-
2025
With almost 850 m², this high-standard residence, developed in the Vivapark condominium in Porto Belo - SC, is born from the idea of lightness and suspension. The name refers to the slabs and volumes that seem to float over the pool and the ground floor, creating an architecture marked by the sensation of levitation.

Implanted in “L”, the house closes off to the street and opens up to the internal courtyard, where the linear pool organizes the composition, receives sunlight throughout the day, and reflects the suspended volumes. A cantilevered slab intensifies the perception that the upper floor hovers in space, while the contrast between the light volume and the dark, recessed ground floor reinforces the reading of buoyancy.

The materiality enhances natural elements such as moledo stone, wood, exposed concrete, and large glass panels, promoting a direct connection with the pool area and the landscaping. The slatted façade acts as a visual and climatic filter, allowing cross ventilation and controlling sunlight, complemented by a second layer of glass. The same element camouflages the technical area and the sauna, preserving the formal unity of the ensemble.

The implementation and shading elements favor natural light and efficient ventilation, reducing dependence on artificial heating and cooling. On the upper floor, mashrabiyas regulate light and ventilation in the bedrooms. The intimate area includes three suites and a master suite with a closet and bathtub, in addition to an intimate living room, office, and recreation area, composing an architecture that balances mass and lightness, technique and sensitivity.
